Fashion advice for men over 25 years old...

Yes, Spring seems to have arrived at long last, Gentlemen, we may be thinking ahead to our warmer weather holiday attire. So here is my simple piece of fashion advice that I am dispensing to as many UK Men as possible.

Do any one of the following apply to you?

Over 25?
Over weight?
Over-haircutted (balding)?

If so, DO NOT under ANY circumstances think that 3/4 length trousers worn in combination with any kind of football top is a good look. If you do, and persist in wearing such attire, please don't go to Continental Europe for a Holiday.

Socks and sandles
Fake football T-shirt tucked into shorts.
Fake England hat to protect bald head from the sun
Those sunglasses that were cool back in the 70's or whenever.
Wear all of those and you will be looking good. Well, sort of

Only that there appears a British plague of them everywhere in the summer. Other countries seem to manage style.

I know what you mean, but they still have the Mullet and the Perm in Germany which sort-of dilutes the over-all look.

tell you what i'n on france at the mo (for the first time in a good while) and I've never seen so many baguettes in me puff! everyone's walking around with at least two each under their arm! can't be a bad thing.

Oh jeez, i cringe whenever we're abroad...or even at home, at the footie shirt, baseball capped and 3/4 shorts wearing masses. Bare topped in the shops...no class, no style.

on the main street here (i'm in orsay, 1/2 hour south of paris) there must be 4 bouilangeries or whatever with the shop window full of bread and cakes. heaven.

They probably wish the Germans had won...
