So I bit the bullet and ordered some stuff,
shoes - shimano r087
pedals - shimano m520
I opted for spd over road clips for the main reason of being able to walk with them.
fitted them this morning and had a roll around the drive to get used to clipping in and unclipping......proceeded to fall over twice from clipping in at slow speed.
Decided to go for a ride to my parents and I can't believe the difference. so much better, had no problems while out on the road either. thumbs up from me.
anyone doubting about going clipless, do it.
