I haven't ventured out yet but it is the first morning since the extended last winter that I thought about putting heating on as soon as I woke up!

Frost here in South Poshire. The autumn equinox is barely past and we're getting frost - a long cold winter ahead?

Laughed a my neighbours who'd rather freeze their bits off de icing cars rather than simply park them in their garage overnight.

See, I drive a diddy car so I can hang up my 8 bikes and Mrs D's 2 bikes, and garage it and not inflict it on my neighbours by dumping it on the street. The sacrifices I make, eh?

Wasn't just the drivers who were clearing the screens. This cyclist was also. Glasses kept misting at every traffic light stop.

Made the mistake of going out in my shorts, then the freezing rain came and every cyclist I passed on the way back was dressed for winter riding
