First race of the season

Mine's in Gloucester in 2 weeks. A fast, flatish course with a technical, mud filled ditch that has to be criss-crossed and a couple of steep banks. Got 6th place there last year but doubt I'll get anywhere near that this year. Still looking forward to it.

So, what have you guys got lined up?

Raced in London a couple of weeks ago just to get started. Now a month or so of "training" and my next race is Oct 11th. After that I've got a race every week for five weeks if I want.

One tomorrow (sat) - Notts and Derby .
then one on Sunday - North West .

Two in a weekend! Yow!

Takes me about three days to recover from one.

First race of the season for me tonight - and my first proper outing on my cross bike - probably not the best combination but I'll sure as hell give it a go

I didn't even know there was such a thing as night time CX races. I struggle enough to stay on the bike in the light!

Well, **** me that was 'ard! Bit of a shock to the system, that. No idea how well I did but definitely not too well. Big field, fast start and one incident involving course tape getting wrapped around my leg/bike causing me to lose at least 3 places on the last lap. Grrrrr.

Still, first race out the way. What a great sport!!!!
