How do I fit a bar bag on drop bars with shimano shifters? the cables get in the way, so is there some way of moving the cables or extending them out of the way?

(this one - but can't seem to find it on UK sites at the moment!)

I have the Edinburgh Cycles Revolution bar bag (actually it is a Vaude Road I but the same as the ERC one). Nice and small, fits fine with the cables pushed slightly to one side
