To be honest dude it was a going away gift from my uncle, hes retired to Oz & left me the bike... i didnt want to sell it but its just cluttering up the house lol & im a self employed builder so like simply red once said ''Moneys too tight to mention''.

I wasnt to sure on the price they go for, I looked at one site & it was retailing at £2k so i thought id put it in for £1,250 & see what offers i get back on it.

I think in the current climate you'll be struggling a little. rule of thumb 60% of its retail cost at time of purchase minus £10 for every year.

I have the centaur equiped model which cost me £1,700 two years ago. since changed the wheels and the chainset 'bars and stem, only for cosmetic purposes.

Assuming it is in A1 condition, and I was selling it, then I would be asking a grand, seems like a lot, but IMO it is a very nice bike, and I'm sure someone on here would take you up. xxl what does that equate to in cm's? mines a
L =56cm XXL gonna be for a very tall person.

Thanks for your honest opinions, I didnt even know what the bike was worth until somebody said its a specialist bike.... so i have no clue what xxl converts to in cms, I just see a sticker on the top of the frame that said XXL lol. I was going to put it on ebay but i havent an account with them, I dont really trust this online exchanging, but I stumbled across this site, which I think is really good.

I cannot believe that somebody will pay upto £10k for a bike, those Colnago bikes are ridiculous lmao

I would not pay £10k as I can get the same fun for a lot less money. But those that do pay this sort of money, will argue that it is a lot more fun than a £10k car. And you have effectively bought the equivalent of a Ferrari
