Rather like Jamie Oliver I think you either love or hate Frank Skinner.

We had a bit too much of him (even for a fan) a while back but he has been off the scene for a couple of years now.

He was on the Amnesty gig on TV last night and I thought he was really good - back on his old form. By far the best act on the show.

If you did not see it, in part of his stand up act he was on about old war songs, and said that we did not have any nowadays. He then got a ukulele and closed his set with a George Formby style song about Osama Bin Laden. Brilliant!

Probably had to be there but it included:

"Music is banned by the taliban
so they always miss the Ice Cream Van"

Am I the only one who thinks he is good?

Marmite or peanut butter? Marmite I'm afraid. He got what he deserved when he interviewed Matthew Kelly.

It's a bit more complicated than that...
There were three acts worth watching - Skinner, Shappi Khorsandi and Kristen Schaal. All of the rest were mediocre or unfunny.

Still, it got me through my ironing pile.
