gaffa tape fix

the gel insert on my wtb rocket saddle seemed to be coming away from the saddle body, so i've given the underside a clean and stuck it back in place with judicious use of gaffa tape.

will it be a useful fix, or is it time for a new saddle?

Does the gaffa tape match the colour of the saddle Alec?

well it's underneath but no, black saddle and clear (whitish) gaffa tape

Pity. I've ridden around on my old school Kona MTB with a gaffa'd saddle for years. But it was black tape on a black saddle.

If it can't be seen then save yourself a wedge and buy more cake I say!

It'll be fine. I got slagged off for repairing a torn saddle with black gaffa tape at Christmas after a few offs on black ice - people told me just to buy a new saddle. But the gaffa bodge-job's lasted perfectly well and I'm happy with it. After all, when I'm sitting on it no-one sees it anyway !

Nahhh - no shame and no money for a new one at the time !

No probs now I have my SCR2 with a spanky new, intact saddle
