Been on the forum for about a week or so now.

I'm 39 and just getting back into cycling after a 10year or so lay off, during which i forgot about the bike and got into running.

My running days are over sadly due to ongoing back problems, which fortunately don't affect my cycling.

I'm presently bumming round on a 15 year old Giant peloton road bike, but have just ordered a Specialized Allez Triple which will be with me early April.

I'm a bit of a plodder and am quite happy to coast along at 15-16 mph and my current rides are not much more than 12 miles although i'm hoping to build upto 40 miles or so through the summer.

I'm based in Shipley, West Yorks so if anyone knows any gentle sunday ride groups i'd be glad of any recommendations.
