H/R and cadence computer to buy?

Hi guys

Looking to get myself a bike computer but one with a heart rate and cadence monitor i was thinking maybe the new Garmin 500 as it's getting some good reviews but is there anything out there a little cheaper than the Garmin?, which costs £220 as i don't really need the GPS function.

Garmin forerunner 305 and the cadence/speed bike transmitter is a splendid combination but then I like the data collection/route tracing of a gps enabled device.
