Was it me or did Cavendish seem a tad pi**ed off about the Olympics when Gary Imlach interviewed him at the end of the satge?

He talked about finishing TdF early only to finish 9th! Oh dear!

Yes, I definitely picked up a tone that he was not enamoured by the Olympic experience and was happy to be back with people he enjoyed cycling with. He is a good cyclist - but needs to grow up a little and stop blaming others for lack of success.

The Olympics need a sensible head to go and pursue.

Chris Boardman is a shining example of such.

Maybe he could do with a convo. with the man - though, if MC had any talent maybe he wouldn't.

Re Tour of Ireland Cav was well busted on the Connor Pass today. As he said "I wuz dropped"--more like stuffed! Yes he does need to grow up a little but given another year or two and he will be great.
