Puzzle game procrastinator!
I just read this post on trio25's blog announcing that she fell off her bike on Thursday and broke a collarbone. Many NW England forum members have ridden with Amy over the past few years so I thought I'd let y'all know.

Heal soon Amy and remember to join us on some more forum rides later in the year! :hello:

Thats bad news, Trio clocks up some serious miles and appears to love and almost rely on her cycling  Get Well Soon Andrew P on Endomondo

Ouch, gws trio. I'm quite glad I'm not a real cyclist as I haven't broke a bone yet!
I don't know whether I broke my collarbone as a teenager but I suspect that I did!

My bike slipped out of gear when I was out of the saddle sprinting which caused me to go over the bars and land on my head and shoulder. It made a right mess of the top of my shoulder but I refused to go to hospital despite being in a lot of pain. My mum insisted on blasting the wound out with hot water and then tipped iodine solution into it. The shoulder hurt a lot for about a month and a half which fits the time-frame of a broken collarbone healing.

If I ever have an x-ray done on that shoulder, I'll ask if they can see signs of a previously broken collarbone.

Thanks guys.

Yes not looking forward to an extended perios of time off the bike and work. It's the first bone I've broken so lets hope my bones heal quickly. They have said three months to ride off-road, so lots of planned races out of the window. But road should be sooner.
