Hi,

Just thought I would register and introduce myself seeing as I have been picking up so much helpful information and advice from the beginners section.

My names John, I'm 38 and live in Banknock which is in central Scotland.
I've only recently got back into cycling, using it to help shed some weight.

Started off using my 12 year old Raleigh MTB but seeing as it hadn't seen the light of day in about 11 years it wasn't in the best of condition so have just recently got a Kona Fire Mountain Delux which is 1000 times better.

Sure I'll be speaking to some of you on the forum.

I always thought Bangkok was in Thailand, but, there you go!

Glad you're happy with your new bike, but you'll soon be looking to upgrade, just like virtually everyone else here!

Have a look to see if there's a Scottish CC forum ride in your neck of the woods; there are plenty of you fellas and girls here! :ohmy:
