Helmet cam

So, a car drove into me last week then drove off. I am now going to buy a helmet cam.

I commute every day for about 45mins each way. I also cycle in the rain and at night time.

I was wondering if people could recommend a helmet cam for me? I would like to say money is not an issue but some of them at £500 seem a bit sill to me. I have been looking at Contour mainly.

I would like it to be able to capture number plates at night, have 3hr battery or replaceable AAAs and be waterproof.

Do I need GPS for police evidence? Do I need 60fps and HD?

I use a cheap £30 thing from Ebay, but it doesn't tend to pick up very well in low light. I get ~6 hours from three 1000Mah Energizer AAA batteries

My commute only takes an hour both ways so it's more than enough, and my front torch helps pick any numberplates up.
