So here we are, me and my friend, just casually cycling along when out of nowhere, a speeding Seat Leon comes out of nowhere and goes straight past us. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue but when it's passenger flings an open, *warm* bottle of urine straight at you with such force that it bursts, it's rather annoying.

Didn't get a reg number, nothing more I can do. We took the bikes home to be cleaned, changed our clothes and then went back out.

:cursing:

Is that the new "fun thing" amongst the neds, like throwing stones at buses? Or maybe it was not random, somebody that knows you, wants to make fun of your cycling. Either way, it's xx(

always be focused enough to get location and time, colour, style, make/model of car...they might be on CCTV

All I can remember is that it was a silver 2010 Seat Leon, was too confused about what just happened to even think about getting the reg.

Seriously, where was this?

It was exactly on 142 Corsebar Road, Paisley - it's on a hill and we tried catching up with the driver but he was speeding and we had no idea where he'd gone. I remember hearing a loud thud and then feeling wet. The guy threw the bottle pretty damn hard, everything was covered in piss. It was during the day too, more idiots tried to hit me with eggs yesterday at around 11 but this was at 7ish when it was completely bright. Maybe I should take the sign off of my helmet that says 'Smash me with stuff you can find in your car!'

Ah yes, that hill I looked at for about 1 month of my life when I was stuck in the RAH a couple of Years ago. That makes sense!
Thanks, and where was the cycle path you mentioned in a previous post in the Commuting section?

Sorry, but being localish to you I like to know these things.

I have little problems with my local cycle tracks you see.

The cycle path from Linwood comes off here - http://www.google.com/maps?q=Main+R...id=rbsorjBFz_0ISLP-KvNcnQ&cbp=12,41.29,,0,1.4 - and then it's a shared usage path for a tiny little section of the road - http://www.google.com/maps?q=Main+R...=58MkrfzQi8K0Vt4h2rkxUA&cbp=12,272.92,,0,8.42 - and for some reason there's also a cycle lane on the other side of the road. Really confusing.

Where are you from anyway?
