I'm selling the car!!!

Since I started cycling, it has just sat there - gathering dust and becoming a bombing practice target for our local pigeon population.

With the cost of tax, insurance and petrol, it's actually becoming a luxury I can't justify. Plus, I reckon there's the value of a new Trek 3.5 Madone sitting there.

Wish i could sell mine, but until i can get a job that is within cycle distance i am stuck, and in these gloomy times it aint gonna be to soon.

If you can get shot of your car, well done, why pay all that tax etc when you dont have to.

For the odd journey you need a car it must be cheaper to go with a taxi, or hire one for a day.

Mine's staying, but only because it's needed a couple of times a week and hiring a car wouldn't be worth it. We're also too far from a Citycar/similar group system.
