Idiot came out of the turning on the left without looking properly. Fortunately, I saw him and realised that he was not going to be able to stop so had slowed down enough. Stupid thing is he has a baby in a handle bar type seat. He stopped just on the corner with me level with his rear wheel. If I had been going any faster I would have been close to the kerb ready for the pinch point ahead and there is no way the two of us could have fitted through there together.
I had a word with him further on and told him that while I could care less if I ran him over, I didn't think that it would be fair if I killed his daughter as well. He adopted the same fixed stare that car drivers do when you point out their stupidity.
The roadie I had just (safely, I hope) passed gave me a raised eyebrow shrug as he passed.
