According to the Guardian Harriet Harman crashed into a statioanry vehicle whilst allegedly driving and talking on her mobile phone.

Instead of stopping she (allegedly) wound down the window and shouted "I'm Harriet Harman - you know where to find me"!


So if this is true, driving whilst on the phone, failing to stop and failing to give details.......


Lets see how she evades the law on this one.

She has denied it. And no doubt, like all politicians, she'll have been stalked by no end of journos itching to dish up the dirt. Should we not give anyone (even a politician) the benefit of the doubt until proven guilty? Not trying to whitewash her, just asking for fairness.

Methinks this thread's going to have more the flavour of Soapbox (sorry: P&L) rather than Campaign. Is it?
