Ha, funny.My dad's band (Point Five, Singapore's leading R&B outfit!) were the support to the Yardbirds when they came to Singapore - when they had both Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. My dad also started playing folk and skiffle, but he wasn't quite at the same level. Still plays banjo and guitar in a jazz band today though. The lead guitarist for the band, the only one with serious talent, went on to play for Buddy Holly's old band, The Crickets, in their endlessly touring incarnation...
