First lovely sunny and warm(ish) weekend for ages ... and muggins here had to lay a new concrete floor in the conservatory rather than go for a spin on the bike!

I hate laying concrete ... it's very dirty and very hard labour!

Laying Concrete - poor U

I started down the "decorate the front room route" when the weather was cr&p. Today I informed Mrs 26x25 that job completion may be delayed significantly now that the outdoors weather is here. Booogered if I'll spend nice days indoors doing that sort of thing.

Oh yes ... 300Kg of concrete, all mixed by hand ... took me 5 hours of continuous work! Lucky I am fit or I would have died! My back muscles still ache today though.
