Long-Bailey sacked for sharing "anti Semitic" article

So israel has created an stable, technologically very advanced country from themselves in the same time that Palestina primarly specialised in oppression, murder and attacking isreal from money they got to ''develop'' their country and/or help their people. While at the same time creating food shortages to claim Isreal oppresses them so much.. yeah i think the short summary is that your missing something..
Yes, definitely a case of missing one or two things.

Yup I did miss out the bit about the UN condemning Israels annexation plans.

And a few other things such as bulldozing Palestinian Farms that kind of thing,

But ya know - this is the Long Bailey thread not the middle Eastern conflict thread.
I'm sorry but i was'nt the one bringing it up, yes Isreal is'nt particularly the best in human rights too that's correct. On the other hand if a palistanian kills or commits a suicide attack he is hailed a matyr. an isreali is procecuted. An yes i know there are some dishonest exceptions on this especially when it involves the military but still. Both had the change to make something of it after 1948 look at isreal, look at palestina.. And you can off course repeat the palestinians 'Isreal bad, Isreal bad' or you can have a more mature way of looking at it and acknowledge that both parties have their wrong but that palestina in it's current form is the culpit.

But this will be the last thing a say about it as it is about the Labour boys and girls having an issue with eachother again..

Ah, so the UN have got it wrong.

Annexation of Palestinian lands is absolutely fine.

If only they'd asked someone with a 'mature' grasp of these matters .

i did not say that at all, and i don't agree with Isreal's annexations plans(not recent, not the earlier ones) however they are a small part of the story as i pointed out above. And just a reminder it where the Palestinians who tore apart the Oslo accords, paving the way for renewed land grap.

Actually its there in black and white - you have stated that it is Palestine (a?) in its current form thats is the culprit -

Despite it being Israel's actions of annexation, that the UN is explicitly taking issue with.

The Oslo accord was undermined on both sides as far as i can make out - firstly because Israel wouldn't withdraw troops from Gaza and Hebron which was part of the agreement, and then in fact, increased the rate of settlement. The PLO then in turn responded with increased hostilities .

I think to say that annexation is a 'small part of the story' is a bit of a stretch - annexation is thievery of other peoples land.

Having sampled some very decent wine and a variety of acceptable malts, I may have lost some desirable inhibitions, which I may shortly regret.

Has anyone else noticed that the letter by European parliamentarians against the (illegal - my opinion) Israeli annexation of (illegally - under international law) occupied territories in the West Bank has been signed by Margaret Hodge and Julia Neuberger, both vociferous opponents of antisemitism in the Labour party? It hasn't been signed by Keir Starmer. Just sayin'.

Actually, it's worth scrolling through the signatories and noting the Tory "Big Beasts" who have signed up. Will it have any effect?
