gave up on it and supported the local hospice lottery and have had a couple of small wins on that.

My wife was at a charity do a couple of years ago where the first prize was a weekend at Gleneagles worth a thousand pounds. She never plays the lottery, never buys raffle tickets etc, but because it was for charity she bought one. She came home very sheepishly with a weekend at Gleneagles!
