.........shrink a page with the yellow jelly bean and at the same time, hold down the shift key.
Can be done in reverse too.
Just discovered this.

The same thing works with Exposé, Dashboard, etc as well.

Bokonon: You can change or disable the minimisation animation used using the 'Secrets' pref. pane or 'defaults write' from the command line. If you dislike the Dock, there are ways to make it as unobtrusive as possible; use Quicksilver or similar instead. Even Spotlight works pretty well as an application launcher.

When I got my iMac last year I wondered what I'd done when the print on screen came up really close and large. I had no idea at all and didn't realise the control & down swipe with the mouse did that! Great fun now. I don't understand which yellow jelly bean you mean, do you mean a smiley?

Top left - 3 buttons, red, yellow and green. The yellow one is what he is referring to.
