We actually saw two kids on BMXs on an ACTUAL motorway on Saturday afternoon! Riding along the hard shoulder on the M65 they were, bold as brass.

Well I've learned something today. I didn't know there was an aea of North Yorkshire called Londonderry.

Aye, it's near to Catterick and that may be why it gets the name. I was cyclying through there last week and just like the N Ireland place of the same name, it's also called Derry as well as Londonderry!

Motorway? As far as I know, the A1 is an ordinary dual carriageway between Rainton Services and Scotch Corner.

Regarding the bike, it's interesting to ponder the issue of whether it was actually the time and place that got the police's attention in the first instance.
