Just a bit of a plug for an event being held where I work.

Mark Beaumont will be giving a talk on his round the world ride on 20th Feb at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh tickets can be found at http://www.rbgeshop.org.uk/events.irc?cName=events&pg=1

Just for interest there will be loads of bike related stuff at the Botanics in Feb including an exhibition of bikes from Dutch designers and various special events including holding children's cycling classes (and anyone who has been connected with the organisation knows what a shocker that could be)

The search facility needs sorting out on the Botanics website, try "beaumont" in the search bar on the home page - no matches!

To be honest telling people what we do is one of our biggest weaknesses, hence why I flagged it up on here!

Just bumping this for those that may have missed it after Christmas. The programme has been extended to all sorts of activities coveing end Feb beginning March, including 2 days where a chap is bringing along a load of recumbent bikes to try, films at the Filmhouse and Children's cycling lessons.

You would go and hold it while I am off skiing...
