It's an opinion piece. The sort of stuff written to generate a response. It can safely be dismissed as such.

However, if you do feel inclined to pick up on something then how about this....

How healthy can you rank a mode of transport with such a high mortality rate?

If it's mortality rates we're judging modes of transport by...

Set aside the 'road tax' argument... "urged to buy a driving licence"??

Admittedly, some folk do drive as though they haven't actually passed a test but I didn't realise that that might actually be true and they've bought a licence instead!
 
So he's saying bigotry against cyclists is ok, yet against homosexuals it isn't?

Turing deserves better admirers than this idiot.

As for a driving license, it's like an MOT. It only shows you were proven fit to be on the roads for the one hour of the test.
