Far fewer fireworks this year in Sth Manchester - not many last weekend, and most saved for last night. Something is definately working...... one or two going off on my commute, but nothing from kids etc.

I agree, far fewer fireworks this year. Obviously all the neds/chavs had been buying their fireworks using Ocean Finance loans....

I nearly came off last night because of a firework.

I had forgotten it was fireworks night, and as I was preparing for a right turn across a row of traffic, concentrating on the damp road and the on-coming cars and bikes, a huge firework went off in the sky above me.

Made me jump out of my skin!
