Hello everybody,
I have recently started cycling again after an eight month break owing to several fractured metatarsals.
I typically do a 10 mile commute each day as well as some off roading at the weekends. Nothing majorly intensive at the moment so I am basically looking for a reasonably sturdy hard tail.
I have a budget of £500.00, over half of which consists of old Halfords vouchers so I am pretty much tied to Halfords for this purchase and am looking at a bike which is going to get me back into cycling over the next 12 months before I look at any sort of heavy upgrade.
I still have all my kit so the budget I mention can be pretty much completely spent on the actual bike itself.
I have tried out the Careera Fury and GT Agressor XC1 at the local Halfords and both bikes seem pretty reasonably specced for the money.
Would any of you have any comments to share or recommendations that might make my purchase a little more of a certainty as I am pretty unsure what to buy right now.
Really appreciate any advice you guys and gals might be able to provide.
