I just replaced the stock brake pads on the Tektro cantilevers on my Felt Breed with some new Kool Stop dual compound pads. Wow, what a difference! Braking is sharper and more powerful, in fact completely transformed and much improved.
A worthwhile move for anyone suffering from poor braking for a tenner a pair. Just an observation and suggestion as a good and comparatively cheap upgrade option.
