New to Cycling (Bran new)

Hi ,
I have just bought a specilized Tricross Triple 2010 model in black.This came about after i was the support driver for a load of my colleges who cycled from dunkirk to marsaille (both spelt wrong)
I hired a bike in Bedoin and tried to cycle Mount Vontoux but failed drastically only getting 4 miles up and pushed it a lot of the way !!!
Thats when I decided to buy a bike on my return to the uk and get fit , I will get uop that mountain before I am 43 (40 just now)

I'm 40 next month and started cycling in May. I'm making it up hills I couldn't even contemplate just a couple of months back.
