New tyre advice

Planning on getting a pair of vittoria rubino tyres.
Are they recommended?

I recently used one on the back of my best bike while I was waiting for a replacement Fortezza Tricomp to arrive. The ride immediately felt harsh and uncomfortable, you can get much better for the same money.

Well ive got one of wiggle we shall see im fairly sure they will be better than these kenda tyres I have there made of cheese.

I got them as standard on my Cannondale SL Synapse. They seem perfectly ok, but not outstanding. The ride is smooth enough, but then again the frame is renowned for that. Grip is good in the dry, but I can't say in the wet 'cos I use my old hack in bad weather. P**ct*re resistance is fine as I've had no problems in several hundred miles of Lincolnshire gravel and potholes.

Rubino pro slick came as standard on my bike, they seem fine, approx. 2000 miles with no p*******s so far.
