Noise From Front Suspension When Braking

Hi Folks, just a quick question when i'm braking my front suspension screeches when it squeeze's down to its lock. This noise is bloody unbearable, everyone looks at me and i'm getting a little embarrased and you can't have a butch MTB rider looking as red as a beetroot. So please help me out and save my blushes. Thanks All Taylor.

Screeches?
Does this only happen when braking, Do the forks move silently and smoothly over the bumps?

Might be worth posting on here

Hi Redbike, it only happens when braking hard as the suspension tightens. Its always done it a bit, but i haven't used the bike for a year and its well loud at the moment. So i'm wondering if its lubrication thats needed, but where to put it and what would be the best to use. Thanks Taylor.

But they're silent while being ridden over bumps?

I would act on the side of safety and get them checked out and serviced. They can't be working right.

Yer, was gonna say that myself! The disc is screeching when you brake hard- the suspension is diving at the same time as a result of the hard braking.
