Was magic wasn't it, can't wait for the ride home this evening, I'm sure that will be just as easy!

I don't leave for work for another half hour, its blowing a hooli out there at the moment, we've had a fence panel down this morning, and I'm hoping its going to be a tailwind in.

Yup nothing like a good tailwind to get you into work...

... and forecast heavy rain and a 20mph headwind on the way home

We're currently running at 29mph, gusts up to 46mph. Wonder how our Scottish friends are getting on :bicycle:

14 miles into a headwind on the way in, absolutely knackered.

We have winds up to 90mph later on today, this mornings commute for me was not bad but forth and tay bridges have been shut to all traffic and its only meant to get worse after 2pm

great ride in with said tail wind. Thought the commute was quiet (cyclists) today (they must have seen the forecast) Home was a different matter, bloody dangerous actually, 45 minutes for a 30 minute commute, driving rain in my face, gale force winds blowing me sideways, lots of road spray ,not ideal cycling conditions on a fast road, I will admit it was probably a stupid place for a cyclist to be so really have to question my judgement on this one.

Now that was hard work. Forget 20 mph winds. Average maybe but gusting hard enough to bring me to a complete stop at times. Hats off to those who managed to cycle through this further North, must have been interesting...!!

I was fresh as a daisy after a 5 day layoff and made light of no more than a bit of a headwind on the way in but it was a bit bloody livley on the way home at 3, going rather fast with no sensation of any wnd at all for long stretches, and a bloody great side wind at one point had me leaning over at an alarmng angle for a few seconds

and it was bloody gusty later on driving to and fro to Becktons for the youngster's football training
