Odd question

Some time ago I bought a Jackeroo long riding coat (knee-length wax jacket) for taking the dog walking in the inclement weather. I'm very happy with it, apart from the fact that the sleeves need to be about 3 inches longer for my gorilla-like arms. Does anyone know of a specialist who does alterations to wax jackets, or where I miught be able to get some wax jaxcket-type material so I can contact a local seamstress to see if they would do the job?
