Brilliant. Look at the bikes - water-bottles on the bars, no cleats, dynamos even - great stuff. :rolleyes:

The short shorts, woolly jumpers (for goal-posts?) and haircuts are good too.

Surely someone else has some more of this ilk? I'm too young of course :tongue:

Forgive my ignorance, but why are water bottles on the bars a thing of the past? Just fashion? They look much easier to access on the move than a downtube placement.

I guess it would be more to do with the handling of the bikes. Remove weight from the front, moveable part of the bike and put it on a static part and it will behave better. Try hanging an extra 500g or so on the handlebars and you will see a difference.

Yeah, I see what you mean, though at my level of cycling incompetence I doubt it would make much difference. Plus, I quite like the retro look! I'll try hanging the spuds from Sainsbury's on the bars tomorrow.:smile:
