Sadly Fawlty Towers is not as appreciated over here....
It would be if they made Manuel a Mexican

Still on 3 times nightly, on Paramount(?) & still funny, with an immense cast
And also thought-provoking & sad at times

Forgot about that:blush:
Proves that the Americans can do excellent comedy, with such a wonderful cast

That's not a sitcom, it's a documentary. My in-laws go to a very similar club
Essentially been done before, taking the mickey
Anyone remember 'Wheel-Tappers & Shunters Social Club'?

The Orville.

Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane does his own version of Star Trek with a few laughs. Not like FG with quick-fire gags and laughter track, surprisingly good drama with a comedy element, characters you empathise with, staggering production values and amazing effects for telly. It puts fun back into Sci-Fi ^_^which has gone all dystopian recently. Got some funny lines in it like 'we need no longer fear the banana' & 'I've been hugging the donkey since flight school' which I'd like on a T-shirt. Yep, you gotta watch it to understand those jokes.

Still damned good
They're into the 'Potter & Winchester' years

Been thoroughly enjoying Worzel Gummidge, brilliantly played by Jon Pertwee and a fantastic supporting cast. I'm on series 4 now, and amazed at how many people have turned up in guest roles - a proper who's who of that time. I've not seen any of the 'down under' version, may give it a try, but suspect it won't have the same magic. Anyways, must be off for a ☕ and a 🍰
