If your own bike is set up correctly and you are into your cycling then I think it's natural that you will notice things like that.

Eventually you'll get to the point where you see a beautiful young woman riding along in a skimpy outfit and all you notice is that she's riding a rather lovely full carbon Cervelo...

I have started to recognize the name of bikes I see (from being spoken of on here) and if they are fixed (never knew the difference before)
The other day I saw a Pashley bike with a Brooks saddle parked in my work. I saw the same in a picture on cycle chat. We are acquiring knowledge

You need to decide what you are going to do when you spot your first bike with the forks on back to front. Sprint after them and warn them or just roll your eyes and smile wryly? Do you carry allen keys and could you reset the forks?

Me too, silly really, because until a couple of months ago I never knew the difference between a bike's breaks and their bottom bracket. Even if I had the best bike in the universe I would fall off it
The other day a friend wanted to get a shot of my bike, I almost said no, don't go near it! :cursing:

Me too. When my head swivels round now even SWMBO says "You're actually looking at the bike aren't you?"

Sounds like you have got it sorted there !

I still have to say "I was looking at the bike, honest..." and name the frame to avoid a frying pan moment. One day she'll learn.
