Listening to a bit of Portishead tonight. I was thinking that you should give a listen to the 'Rebirth of Cool' series if you get the chance sometime.

I have a copy of The Rebirth Of Cool and it doesn't have that tracklisting. Very odd?

Just about anything by MC Solar is worth a listen. Rapping sounds so much more cultured in French.

Had a look at mine and you are right. For the record the tracklisting is/was...

    Gangstarr "jazz thing",
    X Clan "raise the flag",
MC Mello "open up your mind",
    Soho "hot music",
Dream Warriors "my definition of a boombastic jazz style",
    Galliano "welcome to the story",
Young Disciples " step right on",
Tribe Called Quest "if the papes come",
    Skatemaster Tate "joe's jam",
    Laquan "witness the drift",
    Stetsasonic "talkin' all that jazz",
    Caveman "introduction to a caveman",
    Young MC "I come off"
