Yep, that would be the mid 80's..
I recall wearing white jacket and trousers, espedrills(sp?) and a very nice pink Ocean Pacific t-shirt.
To top it, I would go out cruising in my mates Triumph Toledo playing Jan Hammer at full tilt.

I was very proud to be part of the dance music explosion of the late 80's and early 90's with some brilliant music breaking. But some tracks really haven't aged well at all (or maybe it is me that has aged too much!)
