Should be fine. I run those rims on my fixed without any problems. I can't comment about the hub or the spokes, but as it is a wheel built by Halo you won't be riding on junk.

I heard Halo hubs are like cheese (i.e. dont last) but I couldnt confirm if this is the case! I have the cheapest ugliest wheel ever on the rear of my fixed and its lasted about 9 months just fine, including the horrid weather we had early this year, and the subsequent state of the roads, the rim however, is shaped like a spoon, haha

Most specialist track wheels are fine for road use, the guy in Harry Halls shop in manchester told me once that he was running 2nd hand Mavic Ellipse track wheels with a brake (they have no braking surface) on his Dolan Pre-cursa, and it had survived a number of pretty bad bumps/crashes and that he rides it for long rides on the road every weekend, and I've seen him commuting on it quite a few times. These wheels are obviously pretty expensive though, but the moral is, track wheels are fine for road use

Also regarding that Halo wheel, the rim has a braking surface, so its basically a road rim laced onto a fixed hub

Can definitely recommend the Mavic Ellipse. Changed the rear on my Langster to an Ellipse after the first winter (the unsealed standard gave up the ghost). The rear Ellipse now has 18K+ and 3 winters and is still running fine with no maintenance, it's a rock solid wheel. I put an Ellipse on the front 2+ years ago, and have had no issues, the paint wore of quickly and braking is fine.

I have been to Evans to have a peek at the wheel. The spacing on it is 120mm but the rear stays on my bike are 130mm apart. I thought that I could put two 5mm spacers each side of the hub to flesh it out but was assured that this couldn't be done. The guy did suggest that I just whack the wheel in and crush the frame but I just decided to get the single speed rfreewheel kit to see how my gearing would feel. So after much fettling and filing I'm now running a 50x16 which should do me on all my commutes through the winter.

Still thinking about how much more fun the fixed is to ride though.
