Seriously considering the Ribble Audax/Winter 7005

Has anyone got any experience of it?

Like the more traditional look of it and looks like to could be perfect for an all year commuter...

I built one at the start of the year to use as my commuter. They make an excellent all round bike, and if your sensible with the components they work out very reasonably.
I actually just bought the frameset and built it with what I already had, (Campag Veloce), but if I was doing it again I'd use Shimano 105 Black TBH.
