Very kindly on loan from my drum teacher.

old skool halfords carrera with five speed rear cassete and 52-? from chainset.

seems to fly along on the fove minute ride i just did to get it back home.

I begged a go on one almost exactly like that one today... it was my first time on a bike with drop handlebars, it was definately a green Halfords bike, circa 1983 apparently. But it had brakes along the top bar too. Felt very strange when you normally ride a much wider handlebared hybrid bike.

Thats an Ultegra groupset - some of it will say Shimano 600 Ultegra - got bits of 600 and Ultegra on my training bike - good stuff

It will be a 7 speed rear (or should be)

whats the difference between a cassette and a freewheel??

sorry cars are my strong point not bikes
