I don't bother, assuming you mean the stuff that ends up between the tube and the tyre.

Bah, don't know you've been born these days. Times were when you'd have to chase a mamoth down on foot, then beat it to death with your bare hands, and only then realise mamoths don't have bloody hooves......

When I were a lad we used to cut patches out of old tubes and the rubber solution in those days actually stuck them successfully.
 
What rubber solution? I thought it was meant to be empty - damn stuff had evaporated by the time I got round to using it!!

Rema Tip Top, comes complete with decent patches, solution that works and the all important Woods valve rubber. Don't settle for anything else.:becool:
