Shimano Flightdeck

Hi

Does anyone know if the Flightdeck is available yet for Shimano Ultegra 6700 STi's?
I have been told that they have to redesign the applicable Flightdeck?

Not sure if they are available just yet but this:

(Edit: Just found the new SC7900 Flight Deck computer from Hikebikeandride.com for £137.99 (RRP £149.99) From what I can gather this is Ultegra kit but should be compatible with DuraAce, but I'm sure someone will know better)

I had a flightdeck computer on my old bike, absolutely awful, I hated it! The buttons built into the hoods aren't responsive enough.

I am told that the Flightdeck to fit ultegra 6700 was recalled by manufacturer but will be available here in SA in December.....

We have solved the problem by retro-fitting a set of last years STi's for which there IS a FD available.

I will have to differ with you on that point.

I hade a FD on two previous bikes and had no such issues, in fact had to learn not to press the buttons by accident...maybe your one was a dud or badly installed?
