Apparently the boss left-hooked and narrowly missed a cyclist the other day pulling into the customer car park at the shop.
The cyclist then followed the boss to his parking place outside the shop door and proceeded to have what was described as "a right old go" and apparently was getting rather cross
I don't think the comment "What a shame I missed" helped the situation...
The store manager then heard about the altercation and came rushing out.....in his haste to get involved he ran out through the fire exit, setting the fire alarm off. Of course this meant all staff and customers being evacuated!
