Sick pay might finally be reformed

    Looks like the employee threshold of £118 a week for statutory sick pay might go.

    The added difficulty being the gig economy and people the companies say are not employees.

    Some interesting stuff around the 100,000 people a year who quit their jobs after being on long term sick.

    We only get SSP care sector

    My wife private company pays the wadge for a short while, depending on reason for the absence.

    The Friday - Monday scivers dont fate so well, 5 sick days in a rolling yr
