Sizing

Hi again,
From the responses I got to my last post I’ve settled on looking for a cyclocross bike, however I’m not sure as to what size I should be looking for. I'm 6ft 6 with proportionally very long legs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A 60cm or 62cm Surly Cross Check would be ok i guess.

certainly bigger than the 60cm Crosscheck, I had one, it fitted well, and I'm 6'1", yes you can fit a longer seatpost etc but the chances are you'll be looking at a big saddle to bar drop.

Different brands may have slightly different sizing. Do you have bike in mind? If so, ask the dealer to give you some specific advice.

Obviously the best thing is to try various sizes out, but this isn't always possible... when buying off the internet for example.

I'm 6'2".. I ride a Sirrus Elite XL 61cm frame , My Giant is a L 22" (stepthrough) frame
Different bikes/style size differently you really need to try out various modeals to get a real idea of what you need
