As part of an ongoing N-1, I'm selling my Raleigh Max Ogre.
This is an old-school MTB - steel oversize frame, steel forks, rebuilt with 21 speed STIs and V-brakes. I've just given it a complete service, and it rides really nicely. The slick Geax Street Runner 1.6" tyres, the lack of suspension and the simple transmission would make it an ideal hack, commuter or heavyweight tourer, while horizontal dropouts mean it could be a SS or fixed. 45cm frame, and the size is perfect for a 5'8" me.
Currently has riser bars, but I'm happy to fit straight bars if you'd rather.
Similarly, I can swap the pedals for some lightly-used SPDs if required.
I could even fit a rack if you'd like
Also visible in the photo is the being-refurbished Bike Cave, and I know that the skirting boards aren't finished yet...
Looking for £70 before I Ebay it. Collection from Stevenage, or willing to deliver to a 50-mile radius for train fare or fuel costs.
