Specialised concept store

Currently at my in laws about 20 mins from a specialized concept store. Are they worth a look? A sirrus comp is an option for me at the moment

I would pop along. I popped along to have a look at a Secteur and ended up buying it.

Good staff and a good range (at birmingham), although the newer stores probably wont have the bargain 2010 stock if thats what you are interested in.

It's the one at ruislip and no, not particularly after 2010 stock! If it's a nice day tomorrow I'll drop in.

I go in there from time to time Mike (only down the road in Eastcote) and the folk seems nice enough. There were/are some nice 'Roubaix' on show and even the S-Works Stumpjumpers at silly money look nice under the lighting!
Once you have been lured, haggle for a free BG Fit as they have a 'studio' there to set the bike up properly. redjedi of this forum used them with some success, I believe..!

Aperitif - the BG fit interests me due to my neck and back / shoulder problems. Maybe they'll do it if I buy!

Martin, spookily enough, I stumbled on the stores yesterday. I think there is one in Kingston. Does anybody know what a BG fit costs to Joe Punter?

There's no harm in having a look. I went in when a new one opened near me and ended up buying my Allez from there the week after having a look. The service was fantastic (at Stafford), had everything set up for free and even managed to get them to throw in a pair of shoes as well.

most good LBS will if have the facilities do a bikefit so specialsed should really , i ahve no experience as there isnt one near me, although I have when in the area visited teh Birmingham store nice to look at the top range gear now and again *sigh*
