Its a nice looking bike, but not meant for these shores.

You could try contacting spesh direct and ask if they'll import one for you, or import one yourself

I've got one.

Mine's got "Peugeot" on the frame, was made in the 1970s and is full 531.

Spesh won't import it to UK. Its a budget price, not exceptionally light and its got 53/39 roadrace rings.

Spesh know that 'whinging poms' won't ride a +20 lb bike if it hasn't got a compact chainset.

Let's just say...

The Spesh Allez double that you can buy ( Alum Alloy frame ) is 21.5 lb.

Here's what Road.CC have to say...

"The entry-level Shimano 2300 drivetrain runs as smoothly and reliably as far more costly setups, the double chainset (52/39T) and 8-speed cassette (12-25T) providing a spread of gears that’ll get you up most climbs without too much trouble. That said, we reckon a compact (50/34T) would be a better option, offering lower ratios on a bike that’s likely to appeal to less experienced riders – but you can’t have everything, we guess."
